The Secret: There is a specific “Han” (Courtyard) called Buyuk Valide Han. For years, the caretaker allowed tourists on the roof for a small tip (and an amazing view).
Current Status: It is often closed for renovations, but it’s worth checking. Ask locals for “Buyuk Valide Han Teras”. Even if the roof is closed, the Han itself is historic and beautiful.
